Shepherd v Byrne and Partners LLP [2017] EWHC 758 (Ch), [2017] All ER (D) 179 (May)

The Chancery Division ruled on the claimant taxpayer’s claim against the defendant firm of solicitors for damages in respect of advice he had allegedly received concerning how to voluntarily disclose to the Revenue and Customs Commissioners income that had been credited to his Geneva bank accounts, but which had not been declared as and when it should have been.
