XX v Whittington Hospital NHS Trust [2017] EWHC 2318 (QB) [2017] All ER (D) 80 (Sep)

A total sum of £580,618.52 was awarded to the claimant after the defendant NHS trust’s admitted negligence in failing to detect signs of cancer from a number of smear tests and biopsies. The Queen’s Bench Division also awarded the cost of two surrogacy procedures in the United Kingdom.
