Health & safety specialist joins Weightmans

Weightmans LLP has appointed Dave Shorrock as consultant to the regulatory services team.

Dave, a chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and former principal inspector with the Health and Safety Executive, joined the firm in June 2016 and assists the regulatory team’s clients nationwide by providing advice and insight to assist them in responding to regulatory challenges..

Dave has extensive experience leading investigations into fatalities and serious injuries in a wide range of environments, including the manufacturing, refuse and recycling and health care sectors.

David Lewis, partner and head of regulatory services at Weightmans LLP says: “We are delighted to welcome Dave to the team. His regulatory insight and investigatory expertise is an invaluable addition to our portfolio and we are already benefiting from his advice and support.”
