Dorsey & Whitney—Jonathan Christy

Dispute resolution team welcomes associate in London

The London office of international law firm Dorsey & Whitney has expanded its dispute resolution team with the appointment of associate Jonathan Christy. The firm’s London base, its European hub, is home to more than 25 lawyers and focuses on mid-market and cross-border transactions, commercial litigation and arbitration, supported by a strong transatlantic capability. Jonathan joins from Mills & Reeve, bringing eight years’ experience across corporate and commercial disputes.

An accomplished disputes lawyer, Jonathan has particular expertise in founder and shareholder issues, directors’ duties claims and breach of contract matters, with experience spanning both litigation and arbitration. Speaking on his arrival, he said he was excited to join a team with an ‘impressive disputes practice advising multinational clients on complex cross-border matters’, adding that the firm’s ‘collaborative culture and entrepreneurial approach’ offers ‘an excellent platform for development’.

Aymen Khoury, partner and head of the London disputes team, welcomed the appointment, noting that it comes at ‘a pivotal time’ as the practice continues to grow following significant recent matters, including major international arbitrations. He said Jonathan’s expertise ‘further strengthens our ability to support our established international client base’ and reflects the team’s ambition in commercial litigation and arbitration.

Dorsey & Whitney’s London disputes team, led by Aymen, advises on commercial matters before the English High Court and in international arbitrations, with a particular focus on the Middle East. The team also includes partner Joseph Lewin, recognised as a Next Generation Partner in The Legal 500 2025, who specialises in high-value cross-border dispute resolution and international arbitration.
