The appointment of insurance lawyer Edward Smerdon as managing partner is one of a number of recent moves at Sedgwick’s London office.
Insurance attorney Mark Kendall also joins as a partner and together the pair represent a significant London market client base. Edward and Mark are joined by Tristan Hall, who has become a Sedgwick partner, and associates Lucy Dyson, Jason McNerlin and Duncan Strachan.
Ralph Guirgis, outgoing managing partner, comments: “Ed is a key player in this market and I expect a seamless transition as the managing partner of the London office.”
