Firm appoints three new partners

City firm ELS Legal has announced the appointment of three new partners in its London office: James Robertson, Scot Tsang and Dan Abrams.

James (pictured) was laterally hired from his former position as head of dispute resolution at Karam, Missick & Traube. He specialises in cross-border civil and commercial litigation cases, breach of contract claims, and shareholder disputes.

Scot has been part of ELS Legal for more than six years, and will now take up a partnership position. He focuses his practice on non-contentious commercial and residential property matters, and also heads up the firm’s conveyancing offering.

Dan joined the firm in 2017 from K&L Gates and now heads the corporate team at ELS Legal. He specialises in corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements.

Richard Spector, the managing partner of ELS Legal, stated: ‘ELS Legal has been making a statement in the field of real estate, corporate law and litigation for a number of years, and today’s promotions and new hires are testament to that. Our goal as a firm is to continue to grow, innovate and be the very best at what we do, not just in London, but worldwide.’
