Christine Scott takes the helm at Expert Witness Institute
The Expert Witness Institute (EWI) has announced Christine Scott as its new chief executive officer.
EWI was founded in 1996, and provides support and training for experts from a wide range of professional disciplines. Christine has spent almost 20 years handling strategic management and business planning within the legal sector, including three years at the Law Society.
EWI’s chair of governors Sir Martin Spencer said: ‘The Expert Witness Institute is delighted to appoint someone of such high calibre to the role of chief executive. Her knowledge of the legal sector, combined with her extensive business and marketing experience, make her the ideal person to lead the institute through its next phase of growth.’
Christine said: ‘I look forward to speaking with our members to understand how we can better support them and enhance their experience as a member. At a time when experts face considerable uncertainty, I also want to ensure the EWI is at the forefront of shaping the landscape and representing the best interests of all those involved in providing expert evidence.’
