Fieldfisher has appointed Guy Forster as a partner in its personal injury and medical negligence team, joining from Irwin Mitchell. Based in London, Forster will also expand the firm’s offering into Cambridge and East Anglia.
Forster brings more than 20 years’ experience acting for claimants in high-profile, maximum severity medical negligence cases, particularly those involving birth and neonatal injury, brain and spinal injury and amputation. He also represents families in cases involving death, regularly acting at inquests.
Iona Meeres Young, head of personal injury and medical negligence, said the appointment ‘further strengthens the personalised service we can offer to clients throughout the UK’, adding that Forster’s practice ‘exactly fits our ethos to always put clients first’.
Forster said: ‘I am very pleased to be joining such a talented and dedicated team of solicitors.’ He added: ‘I am very excited to be taking this service into the East of England, an area close to my heart.'
