Fladgate—Thomas Karalis

New partner for firm’s international arbitration practice

Fladgate has strengthened its international arbitration practice with the appointment of Thomas Karalis as a partner, effective 1 July 2024.

Thomas, who joins from Ashurst, is a dispute resolution lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience conducting arbitrations under leading institutional rules in all major seats, under both civil and common laws. He regularly advises clients on complex and high-value commercial disputes across jurisdictions, with a particular focus on the energy, natural resources and automotive sectors.

He has experience running large, high-value and technically complex disputes, in addition to extensive experience on injunctive relief measures through both the Courts and Emergency Arbitrator proceedings.
