Firm welcomes back clean energy expert to lead heat networks practice

National law firm Freeths has reappointed clean energy partner Rhianna Wilsher to spearhead its heat networks practice. With over 15 years’ experience in low carbon energy projects, Wilsher’s return strengthens the firm’s offering during a pivotal period of regulatory change in the sector.

Wilsher will advise on all aspects of district heating, cooling and private wire electricity projects for a wide client base, including developers, investors, and local authorities. Her past work includes advising SmartParc on the energy infrastructure at its Derby Spondon food production campus.

Clare King, head of clean energy, praised the appointment, saying: ‘Rhianna is an undeniable asset to Freeths... her appointment will support the continued growth of our energy transition services across Britain.’

Wilsher added: ‘I’m loving my return to Freeths and working with the wider energy team to support with the delivery of first-class legal advice to our clients.’
