Managing director joins firm’s forensic and litigation consulting segment

FTI Consulting has announced the launch of its trial and arbitration support practice in London, with the appointment of Rich Page as a managing director in the firm’s forensic and litigation consulting segment. His arrival will strengthen the firm’s technical offering for court and arbitral proceedings across Europe.

Rich has more than 12 years of experience providing clients with bespoke technical solutions for hearings, arbitral proceedings and trial-related project needs. Working with law firms, courts and arbitral venues, he has designed and implemented a range of software and technology solutions for litigation, arbitration and depositions, including audio and visual capabilities, evidence displays, interpretations, video conferencing, transcription and document management platforms. As a legal technology expert, he has a broad understanding of both IT and audiovisual infrastructure.

Commenting on his appointment, Rich said: ‘We are seeing more demand for trials and hearings all over the world, especially in Europe. FTI Consulting has a stellar reputation for assisting clients with technical trial and dispute services in the United States, so I look forward to working with my new colleagues as we extend those capabilities to our clients in Europe.’

Steve Schwartz, global head of international arbitration support at the firm, said: ‘Having a dedicated trial and arbitration support team in Europe will be a huge asset to us as we respond to the shift toward solutions that improve accessibility and efficiency. Rich is a legal technologist who embodies a wealth of experience in this area that we are confident will be deeply valued by our clients.’
