Five promotions in Canterbury and Whitstable

South east firm Furley Page has announced the promotion of five lawyers across its Canterbury and Whitstable offices.

Two of the promotions consist of moves to senior associate. The first, Naomi Hayward (pictured), has been with Furley Page since 2008 and specialises in family law matters, particularly high-value financial issues and arrangements for children. The second, Joshua Williams, is based in the firm’s Whitstable office and is the principal contact for private client matters in coastal towns, with experience in wills, probate, estate administration and tax issues.

In the real estate team, Deborah Trott and Simon Stempien have also been promoted to associate, as has Ross Rowland in the personal injury department.

The firm’s managing partner and head of real estate Jeremy Licence commented: ‘I am delighted that we are further strengthening our business with the development and promotion of these very talented lawyers. These promotions are hugely deserved and reflect the lawyers’ hard work, experience and commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

‘To be appointed to the role of Associate or Senior Associate is a tremendous achievement. We have invested heavily in providing a clear pathway for our people to progress, and we look forward to ensuring that our new associates and senior associates are supported on the next step of their career journey.’
