IP specialist joins Thomson Snell & Passmore

South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has announced that Gina Bicknell has joined the firm as a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team.

Gina joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London, where she was a Senior Associate in their intellectual property (IP) and information technology (IT) practice group. This is a strategic move for Thomson Snell & Passmore as Gina will spearhead the push to bolster its IP/IT practice and reinforce its corporate and commercial offering.

Gina specialises in dealing with the IP/IT aspects of corporate and commercial transactions. She also advises clients on data protection and privacy issues and helps them with IP protection and commercialisation strategies.  Gina is dual-qualified as an English solicitor and US attorney-at-law (Illinois). She is also a registered US patent attorney and a certified licensing professional.
