Firm appoints construction associate

Goodman Derrick LLP has announced that Laughlan Steer has joined the firm as an associate in its City-based construction law service.

Laughlan trained at Charles Russell Speechlys followed by four years at Silver Shemmings Ash.  As part of Goodman Derrick’s construction offering, Laughlan will provide specialist dispute avoidance/resolution advice and non-contentious advice to an array of construction clients, including employers, architects, contractors and sub-contractors.

The firm’s construction group provides a comprehensive service from project beginning to end and works extensively in the UK and abroad. The team has considerable contentious expertise and regularly represents clients in all forms of dispute resolution from adjudication and high court litigation to ICC arbitrations.

Head of construction, Richard Bailey, commented: ‘We are extremely pleased to have Laughlan join us at this challenging yet exciting time. He is a great addition to Goodman Derrick’s growing construction team.’
