The Legal Ombudsman, the new Birmingham-based scheme to investigate and resolve complaints made by consumers of legal services, will open in October 2010.

Chief Ombudsman Adam Sampson says: “The Legal Ombudsman is vital in simplifying the current system. When we open, people will be able to seek help from an independent and impartial body.”
