London office strengthens privacy practice with partner hire

Hogan Lovells has added privacy expert Nicola Fulford to its privacy and cybersecurity practice as a partner in the London office.

Nicola is the former head of the data protection and privacy team at Kemp Little, where she was a partner, and has also previously held positions at Google, UBS and Norton Rose Group.

Commenting on Nicola’s arrival, global head of Hogan Lovell’s government regulatory practice group Alice Valder Curran said: ‘Nicola is a highly-regarded data privacy specialist with an established reputation, and we are delighted to welcome her to our team. We have seen the increasing importance that data protection laws and policy decisions have on our clients' operations in the last few years. Adding Nicola to our existing team will boost our offering and enable us to respond to this growing demand.’

Co-director of privacy and cybersecurity Eduardo Ustaran added: ‘This is an important aspect of our strategy for the future. Nicola brings with her deep knowledge and expertise, as well as the right business-oriented approach to this fascinating area of law. She is an ideal fit for our global team.’

Nicola said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining a world-renowned Privacy and Cybersecurity practice at Hogan Lovells. The firm has real expertise and a truly global footprint, and I look forward to working with an outstanding group of colleagues around the world.’
