Specialist insurance firm Horwich Farrelly has awarded training contracts to 12 of its employees, taking the total number of training contracts awarded for the year to 18.
Horwich Farrelly exclusively offers training contracts to existing employees, with an accelerated training programme taking 18 months rather than the standard two years.
The bulk of the training contracts in the most recent intake have been awarded in Manchester, with one awarded in the London office. The trainees work in a range of practice areas, spanning fraud, recoveries, credit hire and motor and casualty.
Claire Fox, partner and training principal at Horwich Farrelly, said: ‘The level of talent we have seen through this process has been really impressive both in terms of quality and commitment. It is very important for us to be able to nurture people from within the business not only to provide opportunities for emerging talent but also to help us meet the demands of a growing client base as well as building a strong foundation for the future.
‘Our training scheme underpins our ethos of “growing our own” and sits alongside our highly successful apprentice scheme, which offers excellent opportunities to those who have perhaps not previously considered a legal career.’
