In-house lawyers name their top challenges as privacy, cybersecurity and corruption, according to the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Global Census Report. The lawyers also expressed a desire for greater job mobility. More than 5,000 in-house lawyers in 73 countries responded to the census. 40% work in a company that experienced a merger or acquisition in the past year. The top three areas for hiring external counsel were litigation, employment and intellectual property. On average, the lawyers worked 49 hours per week.
