Iain Miller—Kingsley Napley

Firm hires new partner in its regulatory team

Kingsley Napley LLP has announced that Iain Miller has joined its regulatory team. Iain joins the firm from Bevan Brittan LLP where he was a partner in the litigation, advisory and regulatory department.

Iain is particularly well known for advising on regulatory matters in the legal sector, notably having acted for the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for just over 22 years. He started doing litigation for the SRA in 1994 and later joined their disciplinary panel.

Iain will work in the highly regarded regulatory team headed by Nicola Hill and alongside partners Melinka Berridge, Julie Matheson and Julie Norris—who focus on regulatory defence matters for professionals ranging from FCA registered individuals and accountants to dentists and psychoanalysts.

Iain comments: "I am delighted to be joining the respected regulatory team at Kingsley Napley whom I have been hugely impressed by when working alongside them on cases for several years. My focus will be helping law firms, in-house legal teams, and other legal providers who currently face many challenges. My expertise will enable me to help these businesses to be more resilient by supporting them on legal ethics issues and the increasingly complex regulatory framework."

Nicola Hill says: “Iain has a great reputation and is an excellent fit for our team, joining us at a time when our defence practice is going from strength to strength. He brings a wealth of experience to assist our clients and will help us grow Kingsley Napley’s footprint in the legal sector. “
