Firm promotes around the UK

Irwin Mitchell has announced seven additions to its partnership in a range of practice areas, spanning its UK-wide offices. The appointments follow on from the firm’s recent announcement of 117 members of staff receiving promotions to associate and senior associate level.

The seven new partners are as follows:

  • Sarah Balfour, a private wealth lawyer with the family team in Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office.
  • Helen Hutchison in Sheffield, who handles private wealth and residential property matters.
  • Leena Savjani, a personal injury lawyer in the London office’s medical negligence team.
  • Laura Middleton-Guerard and Charankamal Dhaliwal, who both handle serious injury cases in the London office.
  • Joanne Jefferies, who focuses on workplace illness in London.
  • Jenny Arrowsmith, an employment expert who is based in the Leeds office.

Irwin Mitchell’s chief executive, Andrew Tucker, said: ‘We are always proud to recognise the hard work and dedication that our people put into making the Irwin Mitchell Group successful. Promotion to partner is a great achievement and I congratulate all of the new partners who thoroughly deserve their promotion.

‘It’s very positive to see legal experts promoted from across all three of our main divisions; Personal Injury, Private Wealth and Business Legal Services as we all work very closely as one team to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.’
