Firm grows team with two hires
London discrimination law firm didlaw has welcomed two new solicitors to the team.
Jasmine van Loggerenberg joins from Slater and Gordon Lawyers where during her ten years with the firm she successfully established and headed up their employment presence in Milton Keynes. Jasmine worked with clients from both the private and union sectors. She regularly advised and acted for members of the Police Federation.
Jasmine advises on all areas of employment law but has particular expertise and interest in disability, race, gender, maternity and pregnancy discrimination. She has over a decade of extensive experience in complex discrimination litigation. As well as employment tribunal claims her case work has also included appeals to the Employment Appeals Tribunal and Court of Appeal. She has experience of national security matters and the special advocate procedure.
At didlaw Jasmine will continue to advise clients on all areas of employment discrimination and will also deliver training through didlaw Education, the firm’s training offering. Together with Pritti Bajaria she will host practical and thought provoking training through workshops on key discrimination issues, equality and diversity, and workplace wellbeing.
Mark Bainbridge joins from Wellers Law Group LLP where he was head of employment and discrimination law. He has considerable experience advising individuals, charities, schools and businesses on all aspects of employment and discrimination law. He has been running disability discrimination claims since qualifying in 1997 and won the first posthumous disability discrimination case in 2001. At didlaw Mark will be covering disability discrimination claims in relation to education, housing and the provision of services, as well as in the Employment Tribunal.
Mark has previously overseen appeal proceedings before the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal. At Thompsons Solicitors Mark was the regional manager for the Wales employment rights teams which successfully represented more than 20,000 women in their public sector equal pay claims.
