Kennedys—Lowri Jones & Will White

Corporate and commercial practice bolstered by double partner hire

Kennedys has expanded its corporate and commercial practice with the appointment of partners Lowri Jones and Will White in London. The hires strengthen the firm’s capabilities in corporate transactions and financial crime as part of its continued growth strategy.

Jones joins from Cripps and brings more than 20 years’ experience advising insurance intermediaries and regulated businesses on mergers and acquisitions, investments and corporate advisory matters. White joins from DLA Piper and specialises in financial crime issues including bribery, fraud and money laundering, as well as wider compliance and regulatory matters.

Andy Brown, global co-head of Kennedys’ corporate and commercial practice, said the appointments strengthened the firm’s capabilities ‘in two important areas’. He added that White had ‘a strong track record advising on complex financial crime investigations’ while Jones brought ‘a plethora of experience guiding insurance intermediaries through sophisticated M&A activity’.

Commenting on his move, White said: ‘I was immediately attracted to Kennedys by its clear growth ambitions and excellent market reputation.’ Jones added: ‘Kennedys provides an exciting platform to support clients across transactions and broader corporate advisory matters. I am excited for what lies ahead.’
