Keoghs, the legal solutions arm of Davies, has strengthened its healthcare and sport legal practice with the appointment of healthcare partner Louise Jackson and associate Katie Everson in the North West. Both lawyers join from Clyde & Co as part of the firm’s ongoing expansion across the UK.
Louise Jackson (pictured) brings over 15 years of experience defending complex medical and dental claims for leading insurers and indemnifiers, as well as representing clinicians before their regulators and at inquests. Recognised as a Next Generation Partner by Legal 500, she is described as a trusted adviser in the healthcare sector.
Associate Katie Everson adds a decade of litigation expertise, handling claims involving a wide range of medical professionals through insurers, defence organisations and private clients. She also advises on healthcare non-claims matters, including regulatory work and inquests.
Sian Davies, head of healthcare & sport, UK & Ireland at Keoghs, said the appointments ‘reinforce our commitment to building a truly national healthcare and sports division’. She added that ‘Louise and Katie bring extensive experience and will play a key role in driving growth across the region’. The hires mark another step in Keoghs’ wider national expansion, following recent growth in London, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
