Firm adds two significant hires
Payne Hicks Beach has announced two important hires in the employment and company and commercial departments. Kevin James joins the firm as an employment partner from Royds Solicitors and Howard Taylor has been appointed as a senior associate in the company and commercial department, joining from Fox Williams.
Kevin brings extensive experience advising employers and senior executives on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. He has particular expertise in health and safety and regulatory law and was previously a prosecutor for health and safety matters in the public sector. In addition, Kevin is a highly-skilled advocate and has represented large national employers both in the employment tribunals and courts.
Howard is a corporate lawyer and specialises in the sale and purchase of companies and businesses, private equity transactions, joint ventures and public company listings and fundraisings. He is instructed by both domestic and overseas clients across a number of diverse business sectors.
