International firm King & Spalding has announced the appointment of Andrea Stauber as partner in its London office, effective 1 January 2021.

A member of the international arbitration team, Andrea has been a member of the firm for more than seven years. She focuses her practice on international commercial arbitration, with a particular emphasis on construction and engineering disputes in the energy, oil and gas, mining and infrastructure sectors, particularly across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

The firm has also named 15 new partners across its US offices, spanning Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C., as well as five promotions to counsel in New York, Singapore, and Washington, D.C.

King & Spalding chairman Robert D. Hays, Jr. said: ‘This new class of partners embodies King & Spalding’s growth strategy through their investment in their clients and the firm. These partners’ demonstrated ability to be leaders within the firm and beyond, especially in the last year, has been impressive and inspiring.’
