Law firms: sustainability makes you competitive

Generation Z & the Millennials have certain priorities that will affect the way law firms work, says James Napier, founder, CBN Expert

The consumer and business landscape is changing and, in order to flourish, legal businesses will need to demonstrate commitment to using technology and to environmental sustainability.

Napier writes that smaller businesses and start-ups may think they are at a disadvantage, but there are a lot of low-cost tools and accessible expert advice at hand. For example, he says: ‘By joining a community of experts who can offer advice and contacts, smaller firms with less budget can still ensure that they track their carbon output and demonstrate this tracking to their stakeholders.’
