Joint project to reduce number of civil legal aid bill rejections

The Legal Services Commission (LSC), Law Society, Legal Aid Practitioners’ Group and Resolution have launched a joint project to reduce the number of civil legal aid bill rejections as a result of error on the part of the LSC or the practitioner. The LSC estimates it could pay more than 1,000 extra bills each week if it didn’t have to deal with rejections.
