LNB NEWS: HMCTS releases guidance on changing methods of service in the divorce and dissolution portal

HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) has released guidance for legal representatives using the online divorce and dissolution portal on changing the methods of service. 

Lexis® update: This new release from HMCTS gives legal representatives the ability to change the method of service within the portal at various points after they have submitted the application and also provides guidance on how to confirm service within the portal.

It will no longer be necessary to contact the court to do this. The guidance sets out the stages in a case at which it will be possible to change the service method within the portal and also the stages when it will not be possible.
