LNB NEWS: Transparency Implementation Group publishes first progress report

The Family Court Transparency Implementation Group (TIG) established by the President of the Family Division to bring about the changes proposed in his review of Transparency in the Family Court has published its first progress report.

Lexis®Library update: The report sets out a short summary of the progress to date of each of the five TIG sub-groups:

  • press attendance and reporting (pilot)
  • data collection
  • media engagement
  • anonymisation and publication of judgments
  • transparency in financial remedy cases

The Judiciary website has a specific page devoted to the TIG where further relevant material can be found.
