Report illustrates impact of "bedroom tax" on housing lawyers
Housing lawyers are in demand as a result of the “bedroom tax”, according to recruitment firm Badenoch & Clark’s latest market report. Housing sector litigation roles are on the rise, it says, with a particular focus on tenancy agreements and rent and charge disputes. It also predicts a surge in regulatory lawyer roles because several institutions have received headcount approval, while a spike in property work in the Midlands has resulted in an increase in the use of locums by private practice firms.
