Transactions practice welcomes partner in London office

International law firm McDermott Will & Schulte has welcomed Karen Butler as a partner in its transactions practice group, based in London. Karen brings extensive experience advising major financial institutions, asset managers and corporations on complex UK and EU financial services regulatory matters, further strengthening the firm’s global transactional offering.

Karen advises on a wide range of financial services law, including FSMA, MiFID, and AIFMD, as well as corporate governance, custody, AML, capital requirements, and SFDR compliance.
