Firm announces seven promotions

Midlands firm mfg Solicitors has strengthened its team with a total of seven internal promotions, consisting of two partners and five associates.

In the employment and HR department, Darryll Thomas will move to a partner position after joining as an associate in February 2016. Residential property conveyancing expert Jane Morley will also become a partner, continuing a legal career already spanning 32 years.

In addition, five lawyers have received promotions to associate level:

  • Andrew Chandler (pictured, left), a will, trusts and estates expert who works within the contentious probate team;
  • Sarah Coyne (second left) in the litigation department, who specialises in medical negligence and personal injury;
  • In the corporate and commercial property division, both Ben Rothery (second right) and Rhiannon Radcliffe (centre front) will become associates; and
  • Sharon Lerry (centre back), who works in the residential conveyancing team.

Chairman of mfg Solicitors Maynard Burton (right) commented: ‘These seven promotions are each fully deserved. Not only do they underline the breadth of expertise we have, but they also highlight the talent and quality of our rising stars across the firm.

‘New partners Darryll and Jane have exceptional track records and continue to excel for their clients. Andrew, Sarah, Ben, Rhiannon and Sharon, meanwhile, all deserve to step up into their more senior roles after continuing to impress clients with a high quality, consistent service.’
