Commercial litigation team welcomes senior associate in Birmingham

mfg Solicitors has appointed Ian Sheppard as a senior associate in its commercial litigation department, based in Birmingham. He will work closely with partner and head of department Sam Pedley as the firm continues to expand its regional presence.

Sheppard (pictured, left) joins from Sydney Mitchell and brings more than 20 years’ experience in commercial and civil litigation. He has represented a wide range of clients and will advise on matters including shareholder and director disputes, professional negligence claims, contract and banking disputes, and court injunctions.

Pedley (right) said the appointment enhances the team’s capabilities, noting: ‘Ian joining us adds further expertise, experience and depth to the team’ and ‘we’re delighted he has joined the firm’.

Sheppard said: ‘I am very excited to join Sam and the team at mfg Solicitors’ and added that ‘the firm has a superb reputation regionally and nationally’.
