Firm invests in future talent with new training cohort

Midlands law firm mfg Solicitors has welcomed nine new trainees as part of its commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals. The group began their two-year training contracts on 1 September and will rotate through various departments across the firm.

The new cohort includes Oliver Leigh, Bethany Steel, Alena Dudrah, Jack Cook and Tayler Bannister, with Alena, Jack and Tayler progressing from paralegal roles into full-time training contracts. They are joined by QWE trainees Emily Thompson, Asifur Rahman, Joanne Pickett and Victoria Cairns-Terry.

‘All nine trainees have showcased their passion to carve out successful careers in the legal sector,’ said Tom Esler, partner and training principal. ‘We believe they are amongst the region’s best and strongest young talent.’

The training programme is overseen by partners Tom Esler and Sam Pedley, and reflects mfg Solicitors’ ongoing investment in legal talent across its offices in Worcestershire, Shropshire and Birmingham.
