Financial services and securities litigation specialist joins as partner in London

Michelmores LLP has appointed Jennifer Morrissey as partner in its London-based commercial and regulatory disputes team, further enhancing its expertise in financial services and securities litigation. Jennifer will lead the firm’s securities and investment disputes practice, bringing a wealth of experience in high-value, complex commercial matters.

Recognised as a ‘standout partner’ in the Legal 500 UK Guide 2025 and named among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Global Plaintiff Lawyers, Jennifer has advised institutional investors, venture capital trusts and litigation funders on high-profile cases in the High Court and international arbitration. ‘I’m excited to be joining Michelmores at a time of growth… it’s a natural home for my practice,’ she said.

Jennifer also plays an active role in shaping the disputes landscape, serving on the Law Society’s Dispute Resolution Section Executive Committee and contributing to the Civil Justice Council’s review of litigation funding. She is also a member of the Banking and Financial Claims Sub-Committee of the Collective Redress Lawyers Association.

Henry Taylor, head of the business group, commented: ‘Jennifer brings exceptional expertise and has a market-leading reputation… her experience expands the range of support we can offer to clients facing high-stakes, complex disputes.’ Her appointment reflects Michelmores’ strategic growth and commitment to excellence in litigation.
