Tom Torkar, a specialist IT, media and ecommerce lawyer has joined the expanding Technology, Media and Communications (TMC) team at Michelmores LLP. Tom joins Michelmores from City firm Olswang where he advised a wide range of clients from large corporations to small to medium enterprises on commercial and regulatory issues with a technology, broadcasting, digital media or e-commerce component. Tom's experience includes advising clients on the commercial arrangements for managing, using and protecting intellectual property, outsourcing agreements and on arrangements for the development and licensing of systems and software.
