Firm strengthens corporate team with double hire

Muckle LLP has announced the appointment of new solicitors, Harry Hobson and Stuart Grieve, to bolster its corporate team.

Harry (pictured, left) joins the firm in Newcastle after four years with Squire Patton Boggs in Leeds. He advises on various corporate projects and transactions, and also assists with associated capital markets work. Harry said: ‘I grew up in the North East and have always felt a great connection with the region. I wanted to join Muckle because it has an excellent reputation within the North East and throughout the UK. It is totally committed to the region and passionate about advancing the North East socially, culturally and economically.’

Stuart (right) moves to Muckle after four years in the corporate and commercial department at Sintons LLP. He regularly handles corporate and private equity transactions and company reorganisations. Stuart commented: ‘The reputation that Muckle has in terms of delivering the highest level of service and developing lasting relationships with both clients and business partners meant that the opportunity to join this award winning corporate team was too good to turn down.’

Head of the corporate team Andrew Davison (centre) added: ‘I am delighted to welcome Stuart and Harry to our team of corporate lawyers here at Muckle. These appointments enhance our already successful team, growing our capability and helping us continually to deliver excellent service to all our clients.’
