Muckle LLP—Ella Johnson

Real estate dispute resolution team welcomes newly qualified solicitor

Muckle LLP has welcomed newly qualified solicitor Ella Johnson to its top-tier ranked real estate dispute resolution team. Originally from County Durham, Ella (pictured, left) joins a department recognised by Legal 500 UK for its strong reputation and specialist expertise.

Ella brings a varied academic and training background, having studied history at Newcastle University before completing her law conversion and LPC at Northumbria University. Reflecting on her move into law, she said she was drawn to a career where she could use her communication and analytical skills, noting: ‘I enjoy knowing that the work I’m doing is helping clients find a practical way forward.’ She added that early responsibility and strong team support have already helped her ‘learn and grow’.

She chose to specialise in real estate dispute resolution because she enjoys the ‘dynamic and tactical nature’ of contentious work. During her training contract she gained experience across corporate, dispute resolution, sports, education and charity, and real estate law, giving her a broad foundation for the role.

Charlotte McMurchie, partner and head of real estate dispute resolution at Muckle LLP (pictured, right), said the firm is ‘delighted to welcome Ella’, praising her enthusiasm and readiness to take on responsibility. She added that as the team continues to grow, bringing in talented lawyers committed to delivering clear, practical solutions for clients remains essential.
