Corporate governance and company law specialist joins the team

Muckle LLP has strengthened its corporate team with the appointment of solicitor Stacey Brown, who specialises in corporate governance and company law. Brown advises clients on general company matters, group reorganisations, share restructurings and constitutional documentation.

Originally from Sunderland, Brown graduated in law from Northumbria University in 2008 before gaining international experience as a paralegal while travelling in Australia and New Zealand. After returning to the UK, she worked at a major law firm and qualified as a corporate solicitor in 2022.

Brown said she has ‘always known I wanted to be a corporate solicitor’, adding that what stood out about Muckle is ‘the people and the firm’s strong ethos and values’. She described the culture as ‘collaborative and client focused’ and said she is ‘excited to be part of the firm’ as it expands its services into Teesside.

Phillip Clare (pictured, left), partner and head of corporate finance at Muckle, said: ‘With Stacey’s vast amount of experience, we are excited to welcome her to the team’, adding that her appointment will help ‘enhance what we offer to our clients’ as the firm continues to grow its leading corporate practice.
