Wilsons, the private client and charity specialist firm, is bucking the current trend of law firms and opening an office in Lincoln's Inn Fields this week.
Managing partner Jonathan Stephens says: “We have always had a significant client base in London across all our practice areas but particularly for our private client and charity work, so we are by no means starting from scratch. We are taking an entrepreneurial view of the changing climate and believe this provides a good opportunity to move our business forward.”
Stephens adds: “In our business, hiring the very best people is absolutely essential. The downturn has given us an opportunity that has not existed before. We are aiming to increase our team of private client lawyers and I have been amazed at how the grapevine has been working—I am already talking to some excellent candidates.”
