Open access for scholars

The Institutes of Advanced Legal Studies and Historical Research are to lead an initiative that will make scholarly books available to everyone. The Humanities Digital Library, due to launch on 17 January, will provide digital versions of existing print titles that will be freely available to, and reusable by, anyone. Scholarly titles in law, history and classics will be on offer, and the list will expand in coming months. The open-access library is an initiative of the School of Advanced Study and the University of London.
