Partner joins London restructuring team
Praveen 'Prav' Reddy has joined Orrick as a partner on its London restructuring team.

Prav acts for office holders, creditors, debtors, private equity funds, banks and distressed companies in cross-border restructurings. He also advises on insolvency litigation and brings deep experience in office holder driven contentious work including fraud, undervalue, preference, misfeasance and avoidance actions.

His recent experience includes acting for Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP on the administration of an international mining company, which achieved a solvent exit, and the joint liquidators of the UK pharmacy chain Lloyds Pharmacy Ltd.

Prav joins the firm from Katten Muchin Rosenman, along with a team that includes of counsel Mark Johnson and managing associate Dominique Hodgson.

His arrival follows the February addition of New York restructuring adviser Manny Grillo.

'We are thrilled to add Prav as we continue to invest in our London platform. Prav addresses three areas of demand: helping our Paris team advise our strong portfolio of funds investing in distressed assets in the London market, collaborating with our Chambers Band 1 New York team on cross-border restructurings and working with our London corporate and finance teams on a variety of restructuring matters for our investor and company clients,' said Orrick’s London Office Leader Mark Beeley.

'We have extraordinary momentum in our French Restructuring practice and are delighted to add a top-quality adviser like Prav to advise our fund clients on the UK debt aspects of insolvency litigation and financial restructurings,' said Aurélien Loric, the head of Orrick’s French Restructuring practice. Orrick’s French Restructuring team represented investors and/or creditors in some of the largest restructurings last year, including the Casino, SoLocal and Atos situations.

'Prav is a top talent with the commercial style our clients value. We are thrilled to add him,' said Raniero D’Aversa, Orrick’s Restructuring group leader.

'Orrick is well known for its collaborative approach and innovative advice. I’m excited to join this entrepreneurial team and to continue building a distinctive offering for funds, financial investors and companies together,' Prav said.
