Pro bono support for victims of London attack

Solicitors will provide pro bono legal advice to people bereaved or injured following the London Bridge attack. The Law Society is working with pro bono charity LawWorks and the City of London Law Society to draw up a panel of solicitor firms.

Law Society president Robert Bourns said the aim was to assist victims of the attack with any distressing practical issues that arise and relieve just a little of the worry. Firms are asked to register with the pro bono panel at londonprobono@lawsociety.org.uk .

A similar initiative by Manchester law Society following the attack in Manchester arena drew a huge response.
