Pupillage gateway changes

The Pupillage Gateway timetable is changing. From 2017 onwards, it will open in January instead of April. The change is being made in response to requests from students and chambers, and follows a Bar Council consultation, which saw 126 responses. It means pupillage applicants will know the outcome of their applications before they commit to the expensive Bar Professional Training Course and pupillage interviews will no longer risk clashes with exams.
