QC hopefuls: interviews in the autumn

The silk round for this year is going ahead despite the COVID-19 pandemic
Applications for the 2020 QC competition opened in February and closed on 1 April, and the Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel has said it will notify all applicants about whether or not they will be interviewed by 11 September.

Interviews will be conducted in late September and early October. All dates are subject to potential disruption from the pandemic, and applicants will be notified of any change in scheduling. In last year’s round, 114 QCs were appointed.
