Firm expands European finance offering with new Paris partner

Reed Smith has announced the hire of Ilana Smadja as partner in its financial industry group and Paris office.

With over a decade’s experience, Ilana’s practice is focused on leveraged finance and restructuring transactions. She represents corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors and financial institutions. She joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Commenting on her appointment, Ilana said: ‘Reed Smith stands out as an excellent firm. It has a strong global platform and is renowned for its collaborative approach towards client service delivery. I am delighted to be joining the firm at such an exciting time as it continues to grow its European finance offering.’
