Firm grows partnership with trio of senior promotions

Leading national law firm Reeds Solicitors LLP has promoted three senior lawyers to its partnership: Emma ĆojderAndy Lee, and Lucy Tapper. The appointments bring the total number of partners across the firm to 18, with women now making up a third of the leadership team. Managing partner Jan Matthews said the promotions show ‘there is no barrier to success and career progression within the firm’.

Emma Ćojder (pictured), team manager of the national complex crime team, becomes the first CILEX member to join the partnership. With 25 years’ experience in serious criminal litigation, she is described as ‘critical to the continued growth and success of her team’. Known for her tenacity and dedication, she has handled cases ranging from sexual offences to terrorism and organised crime. She rejoined the firm in 2022 while retaining her door tenancy at Furnival Chambers, and is praised as ‘an advocate willing to leave no stone unturned’.
