Richard Allen—Burcher Jennings

Burcher Jennings has announced the addition of senior costs lawyer Richard Allen to the firm. Richard arrives with over 30 years of unique commercial experience, was one of the first professionals to achieve costs lawyer status, and is one of a small number of costs lawyers who have made partner in a solicitor’s practice. He is also one of the founding non-executive directors of the Costs Lawyer Standards Board.

Richard has worked his way through both fee earning and costs, dealing with commercial debt recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency, before specialising in personal injury litigation and developing costs expertise. Richard achieved costs lawyer status in 2007.
