Infrastructure partner joins projects team
Robert Turner is the latest senior addition to the projects team at Devonshires. He joins the firm as a partner and will be responsible for developing the infrastructure part of the practice, with a particular focus on economic infrastructure.
Robert has extensive experience in projects in the transport, defence, health, education, energy and accommodation sectors. Before joining Devonshires, Robert was a partner in Dentons, where he advised on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally.
Philip Barden, senior partner and head of litigation at Devonshires, commented: ‘With the UK government placing such emphasis on developing the country’s infrastructure on the back of Brexit, we felt that the time was right to complement our existing projects and capital markets offering by bringing in Robert.’
Paul Buckland, head of real estate and projects at Devonshires said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Robert to Devonshires. He is a strong addition to our existing projects team of 12 solicitors and his specialisms fit perfectly with our existing experience and offering. His arrival will also provide further opportunities for our market leading capital markets and banking team led by Julian Barker and our construction and engineering group headed up by Mark London.’
