Firm appoints new business development head
Midlands firm Roythornes Solicitors has announced Lisa Cawdron as its new business development director.
Lisa comes to the firm from Willmott Dixon. She previously spent over 20 years as a practising solicitor, six years of which were as partner in charge of the commercial property team at Berryman. When the firm became part of Shakespeare Martineau, she continued as business development director, a role she held for over five years. In her new position at Roythornes, she will oversee the whole firm’s business strategy from the Nottingham office.
Managing director Vember Mortlock said: ‘Lisa is an incredibly talented, forward-thinking and dedicated professional and we are absolutely thrilled she has joined Roythornes. Her extensive background in business development, especially within the legal sector, makes her a valuable addition to our senior team. I have no doubt she will bring with her a wealth of knowledge we can draw upon as we progress with our overall vision for the firm.’
Lisa added: ‘Roythornes has an outstanding reputation for delivering high-profile work within the region and with a strong focus on agriculture and rural estates, the food sector and commercial property. Part of my role will be to take that reputation and continue to amplify it on a national scale, without losing touch of our East Midlands roots.’
